(2) The Councilor, Ward No.106

(a) Plot extent in CBA area may be reduced from 80 sq.mts. to 20 sq.mtrs. as that of EWS

(b) No projection of structures as such balcony, sunshade, etc. on to the roads should be allowed.

(3) Thiru Bose, Councilor, Ward No.26

(a) At present there are several G+2 constructions awaiting NOC for water supply and sewer connections. These constructions let the sewer on to the road, which creates in sanitary conditions. Issuance of NOC for these constructions should be expedited.

(4) Tmt. Chengai Chellammal, Councilor, Ward No.39

(a) To ease the traffic, fly overs should be constructed on GNT road at Vyasarpadi and Madhavaram.

(b) At present there is a bridge at Ward No.39, and this bridge gets inundated during the rainy season; ROB may be constructed at this point.

(5) Tmt. Jayakala Prabakar, Councilor, Water No.126

(a) Large scale developments are taking place around Sriperumbudur. To serve these industries and supporting population, a railway line from Anna Nagar to Wallajabad via Sriperumbudur may be thought of.

(b) The waterways in Chennai Metropolitan Area may be used for inland transport.

(c) To reduce the flooding in Virugambakkam, Arumbakkam, Nerkundram a surplus channel should be constructed to drain the floodwater to Coovum.

(6) Thiru Elango, Councilor, Ward No.65

(a) In view of CMBT and KWMC, the traffic flow at Koyambedu is very heavy. The widening of Nesapakkam road is under the active consideration of the Government for the past several years and there is a immediate need to widen this road to ease traffic congestion in this locality.

(7) Thiru Sathyamurthy, Councilor, Ward No.134

(a) The air pollution is very high because of the emission from the vehicles. As in Delhi, CNG type of vehicles should be encouraged.

(b) In order to conserve the water, recycling of wastewater should be encouraged and such conservation methods should be made mandatory in large scale developments.

(c) In Chennai Metropolitan Area several industries have come up and the residences should be nearer to the work places.

(d) In Chennai city, the solid waste management is the biggest challenge and an expert committee should be formed to study the problems and make suitable recommendations.

(e) To make improvements in infrastructure in Chennai City, a Joint Committee involving Chennai Corporation and CMDA may be formed.
