The Gujarat Panchayat Service Selection Board had issued a notification (12/2021-22) on 18 February 2022 for the recruitment of 1181 Junior Clerk posts, after which the eligible candidates had filled the online application by 8 March. The call letter for the exam which was to be held on 29 January 2023 from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon in offline mode across the State was released on 16 January 2023 at 1:00 pm on the official website, ojas.gujarat.gov.in/.

Will there be a change in the Junior Clerk exam pattern?

Some of the candidates are getting information on social media platforms that Junior Clerk Exam Pattern may be reshuffled, however no such information is given by GPSSB, that means it is completely a lie. The exam pattern is going to be the same as mentioned in the notification i.e. a total of one hundred questions will be asked in the exam, each question will be of 1 mark and 0.33 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

The written test will be conducted in offline mode and candidates will have a total time of 60 minutes to answer all the questions asked. Out of the total questions, 50 will be asked from General Awareness & General Knowledge, 20 from each English Language & Grammar and Gujarati Language & Grammar, and the remaining 10 from General Mathematics.
